Mosque in Chelyabinsk was built on the money of Tatars and Bashkirs in 1899.In the Soviet times the mosque was closed. The building returned to the congregation in the spring of 1989. Today at the mosque there are Sunday courses where everybody can get basic knowledge on the fundamentals of Islam and read Koran.
